YAK are a British alternative rock band from London, consisting of Oliver Burslem, Andy Jones and Elliot Rawson.
Formed in 2014, after the disbandment of Yelps, they released their debut single, Hungry Heart, in February 2015, followed by their debut EP, ‘No’ in November 2015. Their debut album, ‘Alas Salvation’ was released in May 2016. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, as well as having supported Palma Violets, Peace, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, The Cribs and The Last Shadow Puppets and played festivals such as The Great Escape, Truck and Glastonbury. Yak will follow up their February 2019 album 'Pursuit Of Momentary Happiness', with UK tour dates for November.
