YBN, or Young Boss N*ggaz, is a rap collective from America. The clique began as a loose group of friends from around the country playing Grand Theft Auto online together and freestyling during those sessions.
Formed primarily of YBN Nahmir, YBN Alighty Jay and YBN Cordae, the group also has members in Glizzy, Manny, Walker, Nicky Baandz, Malike, Carl and Dayday. Nahmir made a name for himself in 2017 with his track Rubbin' off The Paint, as well as his track Bounce Out With That in May 2018. Almighty Jay found hits in 2 Tone Drip and Chopsticks. Cordae, meanwhile, has become known for his refreshing lyrical ability, more reminiscent of the golden old days of hip-hop. His remix of Eminem's My Name Is and his reply to J Cole's 1985 turned him viral online. YBN embarked on a huge European Takeover Tour in autumn 2018, including UK dates in October.
