Yola is a singer-songwriter from Bristol.
Starting her career as the lead singer of soul band Phantom Limb—and also providing backing vocals to the likes of Massive Attack, The Chemical Brothers and Iggy Azalea—she eventually took the plunge and embarked on a solo career. She released her debut EP, 'Orphan Offering', in 2016, followed by her debut album, 2019's 'Walk Through Fire'. Her latest LP is 2021's 'Stand For Myself'. Yola will play two shows at London's KOKO in July 2022, following her headline slot at Switzerland's Montreux Jazz Festival earlier that month, and a North American tour in the spring spring.
