Young Dolph, born Adolph Thornton Jr, is a hip hop musician and gangster rapper from Memphis, Tennessee.
His first mixtape, 2008's 'Paper Route Campaign', was a success and confirmed his journey into the entertainment industry. He released a long string of mixtapes until his debut studio album, 'King of Memphis', dropped in February 2016 and peaked at #49 on the Billboard 200 chart. IN early 2017, Dolph was nearly killed in a shooting in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was also victim of a shooting in September that year. He went on to release 'Bulletproof' on April 1 in 2017, 'Tracking Numbers' with Berner in August the same year, 'Thinking Out Loud' in October that year, and his latest 'Role Model' in September 2018. Young Dolph will play London's O2 Forum in December 2019, before heading out on the 2020 No Rules Tour of North America co-headlining with Key Glock.
