He released a handful of mixtapes, but became a more well-known name when he began collaborating with other artists within his genre such as Future, Post Malone and Drake. He eventually dropped his debut studio album 'Issa Album' in 2017, followed by 'I Am > I Was' in 2018 and, most recently, 'American Dream' in 2024. He received a Grammy in 2020 for the track A Lot with J. Cole. 21 Savage will headline Wireless Festival in July 2024, following a North American tour in the spring.
