Dawes is an American alternative country band from Los Angeles, California, consisting of brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, along with Wylie Gelber and Lee Pardini.
Formed in 2009 out of the ashes of rock band Simon Dawes, Dawes released their debut album, 'North Hills', in 2009. 'Nothing Is Wrong' followed in 2011, ‘Stories Don't End’ in 2013, and ‘All Your Favorite Bands’ in 2015. The band released their next album, ‘We're All Gonna Die’, in September 2016 via HUB Records, and returned with 'Passwords' in June 2018. Their latest full-length, 'Misadventures Of Doomscroller', arrived in 2022. They'll embark on a US tour in support of it in spring 2023.
