Alejandro Escovedo is a Mexican-American rock singer-songwriter from San Antonio.
Starting his music career in 1975, in the gothic rock The Nuns, he then joined alternative country bands Rank and File and True Believers. He launched his solo career in 1992, with the release of his debut album, ‘Gravity’. He has released 13 studio albums and two live albums, the latest being ‘Burn Something Beautiful’ in October 2016.
