Altered Images are a new wave band from Glasgow, Scotland.
Initially a five-piece, today the band consists of just frontwoman Clare Grogan and multi-instrumentalist Steve Lironi. Formed in 1981, they released three albums before splitting shortly after the release of 1983's 'Bite', going on to reform briefly in 2012 and again in 2021. They dropped their fourth full-length record, 'Mascara Streakz', in 2022. Altered Images will play 'Bite' in full on their UK tour in autumn 2024.
