American Authors are an American indie rock band hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 2006, they’re now located in Brooklyn, New York, and are signed to Island Def Jam Recordings.
Making a name for themselves early on thanks to local gigs and demos, they got their break when they moved to Brooklyn, and soon began releasing their music for fans worldwide. Their debut album, ‘Oh, What a Life’, hit shelves in March 2014, followed by 'What We Live For' in 2016. They put out their most recent full-length, 'Seasons', in 2019.
