The Playhouse is a live music and arts venue based on Greenside Place in Edinburgh. Originally opened as a single screen cinema back in 1929, it was converted into an entertainment site in the 70's and has hosted ballet, opera, theatre, musicals, as well as live bands and acts including Bob Dylan, Metallica, U2, BB King, and The Who.
