Ashley Monroe is an American country singer and songwriter from Knoxville, Tennessee.
She started her music career in 2005, singing a record deal with Columbia Records, and releasing the singles Satisfied and I Don’t Want To. She left Columbia Records in 2007, and wrote songs for artists such as Katrina Elam, Jason Aldean, and Miranda Lambert. She released her debut album, ‘Satisfied’, in 2009, and followed this with a self titled EP. She signed a deal with Warner Brothers in 2013, and released her second album, ‘Like a Rose’, which gained her more notoriety. ‘The Blade’ was released in 2015, and her latest record, 'Sparrow', in 2018.
