Asia Tickets, Tour Dates & Concerts 2025/2026Last Updated: 26 Jan 2017 9:25pm
ASIA began life in 1981 as a prog supergroup of sorts, featuring John Wetton, formerly of King Crimson, Yes duo Steve Howe and Geoff Downes and Emerson, Lake and Palmer drummer Carl Palmer. Their debut, self-titled album, powered by hit singles Only Time Will Tell and Heat Of The Moment, topped the Billboard charts in 1982.
Since then, the band have undergone myriad line-up changes, including stints for John Payne and, very briefly, Greg Lake as frontman in place of Wetton, and released 14 studio records. In 2006, the original line up reformed, leading to a tour and new material, along with the formation of Asia With John Payne. As part of the tour to accompany ‘Phoenix’, their 2008 comeback record, the band performed their debut in full. In 2013, Howe retired from the band to focus on other projects, being replaced on guitar by Sam Coulson. The new line up released an album ‘Gravitas’ in spring 2014. 2017 sees Asia teaming up with Journey for a co-headline tour of the US. Check below to find tickets through Stereoboard!
