Aziz Ansari is an actor and comedian from Columbia, South Carolina.

He began performing stand-up in 2004 while at university, and has since gone on to become one of the US’s most popular comedy actors. His filmography contains many big-name films and television series, including I Love You Man, Funny People, Scrubs, Bob's Burgers, Get Him To The Greek and This Is The End, as well as a starring role in Netflix's Master of None, for which the show received three Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe. However, he is perhaps best known for playing sleazy government official Tom Haverford in Parks & Recreation.

Ansari's feature film directorial debut, Good Fortune, which he also wrote and stars in alongside Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer and Sandra Oh, is set for release in the United States in October 2025.
