Bas—real name Abbas Hamad—is a rapper from Paris, France, but raised in New York.
Starting his music career in 2010, he has released four albums, plus several full-length mixtapes, and has collaborated with the likes of Ari Lennox, Smino, A$AP Ferg, Jungle, DJ Khalid and J. Cole (the latter of which earned him his first Grammy nomination for their track Down Bad). His most recent LP, 'We Only Talk About Real Shit When We're Fucked Up', arrived in 2023. Bas will support his new album with a UK tour in April 2024, following a 23-city North American run earlier in the spring.
