Bestival is a music and arts festival, that now takes place at Lulworth Estate, Dorset, in September.
Formed in 2004, by record producer and DJ Rob Da Bank, the festival used to take place at Robin Hill Country Park, Isle of Wight until 2017. It sees a diverse selection of bands, singers, DJs, and performers hitting its stage every year. Initially seeing a crowd of 10,000 fans turning up, the festival’s capacity has now reached 60,000. The festival won Best Major UK Festival at the UK Festival Awards 2010. The festival has seen performances from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder, Fat Boy Slim, Elton John, New Order, Pendulum, The Cure, Major Lazer, Hot Chip, Diplo, Fatboy Slim The Cure, Dizzee Rascal, The Prodigy, Bjork, Amy Winehouse, Elbow, Beastie Boys, Scissor Sisters, Pet Shop Boys, Chic & Nile Rodgers, Outkast, Beck, Foals, Disclosure, and London Grammar. Bestival returns to its new location of Dorset a month earlier than usual in August 2018, this time with a circus theme.
