Big Meech, real name Demetrius Flenory, is an American actor and rapper who co-founded the infamous Black Mafia Family (BMF) with is brother Terry Flenory.
The Detroit-raised brothers made a name for themselves as drug dealers in the '80s, becoming one of the most influential crime families in America. In 2000, they founded BMF Entertainment, a drug trafficking and money laundering operation that encompassed a record label, hip hop magazine, and music promotional agency. In 2005, the brothers were arrested and later sentenced to 30 years in prison for drug trafficking and money laundering charges. Demetrius was released from jail in October 2024 and is slated to finish his sentence at a halfway house. A concert celebrating the release of Big Meech is to be held at the Amerant Bank Arena, Miami in February 2025. The star-studded event will feature performances from Lil Baby, Sexyy Red, Rick Ross, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and more, with more acts to be announced.
