Bjork is a singer-songwriter, musician and actress from Reykjavík, Iceland.
Starting her musical career in 1987 as a member of the Sugarcubes, the band released three albums before disbanding in 1992. She released her first studio album, aptly titled ‘Debut’, in 1993. She has since added a further nine records to her discography including, most recently, 'Fossora' in 2022. Her hugely successful career has led her to be awarded some of the highest honours in music, winning five BRIT awards, 15 Grammy nominations, an Academy Award nomination for Best Song and was awarded the Order Of The Falcon – a prestigious merit in Iceland for chivalry. She has also been listed in Time's 100 Most Influential People In The World and as one of Rolling Stone's All-Time Greatest Singers. Bjork will headline Australia's Perth Festival in March 2023.
