Black Mountain is a Canadian rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, consisting of Stephen McBean, Amber Webber, Matt Camirand, Jeremy Schmidt and Joshua Wells.
The band formed in 2004, releasing their debut self-titled album in 2005, followed by ‘In the Future’ in 2008, which was nominated for the Polaris Music Prize, as was their next album, ‘Wilderness Heart’, which came out in 2010. They released ‘IV’, in April 2016 and their latest, 'Destroyers' in June 2019. Black Mountain head to the UK for shows in October 2019 in support of their latest album.
