Brand New are an American alternative rock band from Long Island, New York, featuring frontman Jesse Lacey, guitarist Vincent Accardi, bassist Garrett Tierney, keyboarder Derrick Sherman, and drummer Brian Lane.
Formed in 2000, the band released their debut album, ‘Your Favourite Weapon’, in 2001, which was followed by ‘Deja Entendu’, in 2003, but it was their third album, ‘The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me’, released in 2006, which saw the band break into the Billboard 200 Top 40. The band’s fourth album, ‘Daisy’, released in 2009, performed even better, reaching #6 in the chart. They are expected to release their fifth album in October 2017.
