Broken Bells are an American indie rock outfit hailing from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2009 by Brian Burton - aka Danger Mouse - and The Shins frontman James Mercer, the pair also enlist the help of a backing band when performing live, though they primarily work as a duo.
Signed to Columbia, they instantly managed to cement themselves into the music scene thanks to its members having already achieved success themselves. Their self-titled album hit Top 10 in the US and charted over here in the UK too. In 2014, they release their second effort ‘After the Disco’ - catch them promoting it with a gig in London!
