Busta Rhymes is an American rapper and producer from Brooklyn, New York.
Starting his music career in 1989, he started out as an original member of the hip hop group Leaders Of The New School. Rhymes' breakout moment came from appearing on Scenario, the third single from A Tribe Called Quest's 1991 second album 'The Low End Theory'. He released his debut album, ‘The Coming’, in 1995 and has gone on to receive 11 Grammy Award nominations over the years, releasing 11 studio albums, his latest being 2023's 'Blockbusta', which was produced by hip hop icons Pharrell, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. Busta Rhymes will return to Australia for the first time in 10 years to perform in Sydney and Melbourne in October 2024. He'll also play Promiseland Festival, in Gold Coast.
