Cake are an American alternative rock band from Sacramento, California, currently comprising John McCrea, Vince DiFiore, Xan McCurdy, Todd Roper and Daniel McCallum.
Formed in 1991, Cake released their debut album, 'Motorcade of Generosity', in 1994, followed by 'Fashion Nugget' in 1996, 'Prolonging The Magic' in 1998, and 'Comfort Eagle' in 2001. They later put out 'Pressure Chief' in 2004, and after a break, dropped 'Showroom of Compassion' in 2011. Cake have announced US tour dates throughout the spring and summer of 2024.
