Children of Bodom were a Finnish metal band from Espoo, consisting of the late Alexi Laiho, Jaska Raatikainen, Henkka Blacksmith and Janne Wirman.
Formed in 1993, the band released nine albums, including their 1997 debut ‘Something Wild’, 2003's ‘Hate Crew Deathroll’, which hit #1 in the Finnish charts and had success across Europe, while their sixth album, 2008's ‘Blooddrunk’, hit #22 in the Billboard Hot 200.
