Chris Cohen is an American musician from Los Angeles, California.
Starting his music career in 2000, after he founded the band The Curtains, the band released their debut album, ‘Fast Talks’, in 2001, ‘Flybys’, in 2003, and ‘Vehicles of Travel’ in 2004, and ‘Calamity’ in 2007, which featured only Cohen. In 2002 he joined Deerhoof as a guitarist and launched Cryptacize in 2008, releasing ‘Dig That Treasure’ the same year and ‘Mythomania’ in 2009. He released his debut album, ‘Overgrown Path’, via Captured Tracks in 2012, which was followed by ‘As If Apart’ in May 2016. Chris Cohen is set to play London and Brighton shows in September, alongside an appearance at End of The Road, and two shows with Eleanor Friedberger.
