Chris Young is a country musician from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
He began performing while still in school, but shot to fame in 2006 after winning season four of the TV talent show Nashville Star. He won a contract with RCA Records Nashville, and released his self-titled debut album that same year. Since then, he has gone on to record a further seven studio records—with the most recent being 'Famous Friends' in 2021—and has received two Grammy nominations for his efforts. Chris Young will play US shows in December 2023, before heading to Australia in March 2024 to headline CMC Rocks Queensland alongside solo dates in Sydney and Melbourne.
