Cold War Kids are an American indie-rock band from Long Beach, California, featuring Nathan Willett, Matt Maust, Matt Schwartz, Joe Plummer and David Quon.
Formed in 2004, the band put out their debut album, ‘Robbers & Cowards’, in 2006, which hit #35 in the UK Albums Chart. Their next two records, 2008's ‘Loyalty to Loyalty’, and 2011's ‘Mine is Yours’, saw them find more success in the Billboard Hot 200, both hitting #21. The band released their fourth album, ‘Dear Miss Lonely Hearts’, in 2013 and 'Hold My Home' in 2014. The band's latest LP, 'New Age Norms 2', landed in 2020.
