Owl City Cancel UK & European Tour Dates

Overnight sensation Owl City, otherwise known as Adam Young, has cancelled his upcoming UK & European tours which were announced last month.

The 'Fireflies' singer was set to perform at seven UK & Ireland venues in November, but plans have been shelved.

Motion City Soundtrack Announce Festival Warm-Up Gig in Camden & Tickets

Following the release of their storming fourth album 'My Dinosaur Life' earlier this year, Motion City Soundtrack will return to the UK this summer.

The Minnesota rockers, fronted by Justin Pierre, will play an intimate warm-up show at London's Camden Underworld on Thursday August 26th, before their appearances at the Reading and Leeds festivals.

Southern California's Avenged Sevenfold last played in the UK to sold out crowds in 2008, when they also picked up a Kerrang! award for Best Album. They made memorable appearances at the Sonisphere Festival, Download festival as well as playing with Iron Maiden at their landmark Twickenham show. N’FA (No Fixed Abode) is a London born rapper, who grew up in Australia. The rapper hit the headlines at the end of 2009, after it emerged that Heath Ledger had produced the music video for N’FA’s track, Cause An Effect, which was released on June 28th.

The video was shot in Heath’s garage and was made, just before The Dark Knight. The film which captured Heath at his acting best, just before the Hollywood star sadly died.

Following one of the stand out performances of last weekends OXEGEN festival in Ireland, Scottish sensation Paolo Nutini has announced details of two Irish shows for September.

The multi platinum selling singer wowed the mass crowd on Sunday afternoon at OXEGEN with fans singing back the words to mega hits 'Jenny Don't Be Hasty', 'Candy' and '10/10' among others. Shout Out Louds are back at work, we are happy to report. Their forthcoming new album 'Work', the third studio offering, is finally getting it's UK outing on September 20th and the band will tour the UK in support of the release.

They've had some time off. A six month break to regroup, see other things, places and people. Bebban did so in Los Angeles and Adam in Melbourne. Carl, Ted and Eric remained in Stockholm. And when they got together again they knew that this is what they do, and that this is what they will continue to do.

Recluse - Anhedonia - (EP REVIEW)

Recluse are an unsigned Cardiff based three piece alternative rock band. Their latest EP Anhedonia is available for download now.

They formed in July '08 and have been interestingly described as sounding like 'Queens of the Stone Age getting molested by Smashing Pumpkins' and 'Early Nirvana kissing Kyuss whilst secretly thinking about Pearl Jam'.

The group are well known on the Welsh gig circuit and have headlined Barfly Cardiff, le Pub Newport as well as several other smaller UK festivals and Recluse are currently finalising a tour with Cardiff band Eject Pilot Eject.
