Australian Band The Amity Affliction To Support Asking Alexandria on UK Tour

Aussie band The Amity Affliction have used a hard working touring ethic to become one of the biggest independent bands in their homeland, and will be supporting Asking Alexandria on their upcoming UK tour this December.

This year alone, The Amity Affliction have graced the front cover of BLUNT magazine (Australia's Kerrang!) twice already - among others, sold out national tours in venues over 2000 capacity, became the number 1 most played band on Myspace (over the well respected Parkway Drive) and when second full length album 'Youngbloods' was released it debuted at number 6 in the ARIA shocking the mainstream Australian media and solidifying the band as the unlikely cover stars of it's magazine world.

Their outspoken nature and outstandingly positive lyrics have earned praise from fans and industry alike - their music has struck a chord with an audience attracted to their ear for melody and creative approach to heavy song writing.

The band toured the UK with We Are The Ocean and Silverstein in November 2009 before heading off to New Jersey to record 'Youngbloods' with producer, Machine (Every Time I Die, Lamb Of God, Four Year Strong). The result is a diverse and polished record which has set a new standard in what heavy hardcore - influenced music can sound like. It will be released worldwide in late 2010.

Staple MGMT and The Artery Foundation (US) have joined forces on the management front as the band gear up to take on the UK in December as support to Asking Alexandria, setting themselves up for 2011, which will surely be The Amity Afflictions year overseas.
