Kylie Mingoue Added To Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade Line-up

Australian pop sensation Kylie Minogue has been added to the line-up at this year’s Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The annual parade has grown to be a staple part of the American Thanksgiving tradition, and this year over 3.5 million spectators are expected to attend on the streets of Manhattan, while a further 50 million are expected to watch on television.
Kylie Minogue will be performing a song from her latest album, ‘Aphrodite’ while appearing on the new Homewood Suites "On The Roll Again" float, which features a collection of ducks among other things.
Also to appear on this year’s parade are stars such as India Arie, Melissa Rivers, Crystal Shawanda, Jessica Simpson, and Kanye West. If this wasn’t enough excitement for the hoards of viewers at home, both the Power Rangers and the Sesame Street Muppets are also set to drop in for an appearance.
The 84th edition of the landmark parade will begin at 9AM on Thursday, November 25th. The parade will be broadcast live on NBC.
It has been a busy week for the pop singer, who has recently been involved in a conflict with British gossip magazine, Heat. The magazine was forced to offer a printed apology over untrue claims that Minogue had adopted a water-only diet to keep her slim figure.
The singer was clearly unnerved at the original claims, prompting her to post on Twitter: "OMG ... media reports that I am on a water diet are not only untrue but irresponsible. No, no, NO!!!!!!"
Kylie Minogue is currently preparing for an extensive UK and Irish tour next year. The singer has announced the following UK tour dates:

2nd MEN Arena, Manchester
7th O2 Arena, London
8th O2 Arena, London
