Teesside folk-rockers Young Rebel Set have announced details of a new UK tour for next February, followed by a number of free shows in March. This news follows the release of the band’s latest single ’Measure of a Man’, which came out on 14th November as a digital download.
The new single follows the band’s previously self-released EP ‘Won’t Get Up Again’ and precedes their debut album, which they are currently working on. They hope to have the album ready and released by early 2011.
‘Measure of a Man’ includes two more new tracks as part of the download: ‘The Reckoning’ and ‘Love Me Once, Love Me Again’. The single is mixed by Dan Austin, who the band have been working with on the album. Dan has previously worked with a number of other bands, including Doves, Massive Attack and Cherry Ghost.
The video for ‘Measure of a Man’ features actress Jo Hartley, who previously starred in the 2006 film ‘This is England’ as well as this year’s TV spin-off. See below to watch the new video.
