Folk Pop band Left With Pictures have revealed that they will play every song from their new musical project album ‘In Time’ at a one-off Christmas special show in London.
Throughout 2010, Left With Pictures set themselves the challenge of writing, recording and making a video for a track for every month of the year, in conjunction with Gideon Coe’s show on BBC6 Music, which played every new track on the last Monday of each month.
These songs were then released via the band’s website as a free download, and have now revealed that they will also play all 12 songs, in order, at The Slaughtered Lamb on the 17th of December.
The band will also be supported by Monroe Transfer and Vadoinmessico.
In Time will be the their second full album release, and has already been warmed to by musicians across the UK, with Radio DJ Gideon Coe saying “In Time has worked out as well as I could have hoped. It's been really special to have a band delivering a song every month without any noticeable stretch of the deadline. Listening to it track by track has been a great introduction as well. I think it's shown the band in a variety of guises, month by month, and it's also shown what a splendid, splendid band they are."
Below is the album’s 9th track, for September, titled ‘This Light’.
