Rod Stewart Announces Additional UK Summer Shows & Tickets

After a hugely successful sold out tour in 2010, Scottish singer/ songwriter Rod Stewart has announced further UK summer shows at Scotland's Pittodrie Stadium in Aberdeen and Newbury Racecourse.
The legendary rocker will perform at the home of Scottish football club side Aberdeen only a few days prior to his already confirmed open-air show on June 8th at the home of Norwich City football club, Carrow Road. Performing the football stadium shows during the close of the season, in addition, Rod Steward has also announced a special show as part of Newbury LIVE! at Newbury Racecourse on May 29th.
Fans of the Scottish rocker will be treated to a set packed full of classic hits which include 'Maggie May', 'Baby Jane', 'I am Sailing', 'I Was Only Joking' and 'Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?'
Speaking about the forthcomig Newbury Racecourse show, Rod Steward had this to say. “Penny and I have been racing at Newbury before and had a great time so I’m delighted to be the first person performing at Newbury LIVE and can’t wait to see everyone there. It will be a fantastic night.”
Rod Stewart has announced the following UK summer shows:
Sunday May 29th 2011 – Newbury LIVE! Newbury Racecourse
Sunday June 5th 2011 – Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen
Wednesday June 8th 2011 - Carrow Road Stadium, Norwich
