Alsking Alexandria, who have been described as My Bloody Valentine meets My Chemical Romance via some brutal hardcore metal riffage, have anounced details of their rescheduled UK tour dates.
Having completed a sold-out tour of the UK in December last year, Asking Alexandria will release their new album 'Reckless and Relentless' on April 4th. Announcing a tour to support the new album, the band have posted details of the amended UK dates alongside the following statement.
“As you are all aware at this point in time, we are in the unfortunate position of having to reschedule a few of our UK tour dates. Please understand that this was not an easy decision for us and has taken a lot of thought and consideration to come to the conclusion that we have eventually reached. The reason for these shows will become clear in the coming weeks as we are unable to make public just now. You, our fans, are the reason for this bands success, your love and support has made this band what it is today, and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for that. We are asking you, and hoping that you will all understand and support us at this time. We have been presented with the most amazing opportunity which we feel could really take this band in the next step of our careers. It is a goal we have had since day one, and again it has been made obtainable due to your support of this band. Rather than just cancel these shows we have re-arranged them to another date, not far from the original date they were scheduled for. Thank you so much for all of your understanding and support in the matter. We really cannot wait to hang out with you all and see you at the shows.
Much love and mutual respect,
Ben Bruce - Asking Alexandria ”
