British rapper/singer Plan B has revealed that he is considering experimenting with Punk for his next album.
As the ‘She Said’ singer plans life after his hit album ‘The Defamation of Strickland Banks’, he has made it clear that he would like to mess with new genres of music after successful releases in hip hop and rap.
“I want to go different each time, or else why bother? I won’t do a punk record with loads of old punk artists, but with proper punk artists – ones at an undiscovered level because that’s what punk is.”
Although his current fans may not agree with the star, it is a healthy idea and will give the singer more options and freedom in his music production – and could lead to even bigger success than he already has. His previous album was pipped by Mumford and Sons’ ‘Sign no More’ at the Brit Awards last month – could a future punk-orientated release bring in the silverware?
