Birdy Reveals New Video for Single ‘Skinny Love’ – Watch Now

Up and coming singer-songwriter Birdy has confirmed details of her new single ‘Skinny Love’, which is due to be officially released through Atlantic Records on 11th April. The single, which is a cover of a track by American folk singer Bon Iver, is currently at Number 27 in the UK Singles Chart thanks to digital download sales.
Birdy has also just completed work on the new video for ‘Skinny Love’. The video was directed by Sophie Muller, who has recently worked on videos for Kings of Leon, Cheryl Cole and Shakira. Watch the video below.
Birdy is 14-year-old singer-songwriter Jasmine Van Den Bogaerde and she is already looking likely to be one of the great voices of the year. Her mother was a concert pianist and Birdy began playing the piano herself from the age of 4. By the age of 7, she was already writing her own songs.
Her version of ‘Skinny Love’ was recorded at home and released last month. It has since become an iTunes hit and has received a huge amount of airplay on Radio 1. Birdy is also currently working on her debut album, which is due out later this year.
