Arctic Monkeys have unveiled the official video for their new single 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair'. The track is the first single to be released from their upcoming fourth studio LP, ‘Suck It And See’.
The promo feels like a psychedelic episode, depicting shots of the band performing in rehearsals alongside clips of seemingly random footage, including parts of a Sheffield Wednesday football match.
The song is currently available for purchase as a download, and will be released as a seven-inch vinyl to celebrate Record Store Day this Saturday (April 16th). Accompanying the track as a b-side will be ‘Brick by Brick’, the first song to be unveiled from their new album.
‘Suck It And See’ is scheduled for release on June 6th. The band have been unusually quiet about the release, which was recorded with producer James Ford in Los Angeles. Drummer Matt Helders has, however, described the upcoming LP as “more poppy” than their 2009 release, ‘Humbug’.
