Mona Reveal Details Of Special Free London Performance

Mona are set to play a very special instore performance at East London's Rough Trade Records on Monday 16th May. This exclusive instore gig marks the UK release of the band's debut album and will be simply unmissable.
Admission to the show is free and guaranteed when you pick-up the album and a wristband, in person from the store on the morning of Monday 16th May. Any remaining wristbands will be given out free from 6pm - an hour before the show begins at 7pm. Make sure you head down early.
The band have also confirmed a free signing session at HMV Brighton on Friday 13th May at 5.30pm. Fans will be given the chance to meet the band before they play Hector’s House as part of the Great Escape Festival.
Mona’s debut album, ‘Mona’, will be released through the band’s own imprint Zion Noiz Recordings/Island Records on CD, Digital Download and limited edition collectors vinyl from May 16th. The band will also play their biggest show so far at the Electric Ballroom a day later.
2011 has started strongly for Mona, winning MTV’s Brand New For 2011, polling over 35% of of 200,000 public votes and beating off competition from Jessie J, The Vaccines and Jamie Woon. This is not to mention playing shows for Q, Channel 4 drama Skins, appearing on 'Later..With Jools Holland' at the end of 2010 and supporting The Walkmen last month.
