The Slytones Unveil Video For 'Goldie Locks' Single - Watch Now

'The Psychedelic Sounds Of' is the latest from Brighton quintet The Slytones. The E.P is the follow up to their (2009) self-titled début and is available now!

The record sees them build on their trademark psychedelic garage blues sound, pushing convention and enveloping more inventive, and often quirky, instrumentation.

The E.P demonstrates the Brightonians' innovative song writing and naturally ostentatious approach. Characterised by sinister undertones, complex rhythm sections and catchy hooks, the music is pulled together with the menacing, raw, and horny vocals of growling frontman Ashley Edwards.

The Slytones fuse the poetry and groove of The Doors, the spontaneity of Zappa and the raw energy of Queens of the Stone Age to produce something eminently distinctive. Captured for their live shows, these energetic and ominous performances across the South of England have local audiences captivated. Check out the video to their single 'Goldie Locks' below.

Described by Brighton fanzine XYZ Magazine as “One of the tightest (not to mention gloriously disturbing) live acts Brighton has to offer,” the band's second UK tour kicks off after their E.P launch event in Brighton's celebrated Green Door Store.
