Avenged Sevenfold Unveil Video For New Single 'So Far Away' - Watch Now

Avenged Sevenfold will be releasing the second single from their Gold album 'Nightmare' (which earned A7X it’s highest ever debut on the Billboard album chart when it took the No. 1 spot.) on June 6th 2011. The album also charted at No. 5 in the UK.
Entitled 'So Far Away', frontman M.Shadows said “This is our most personal song to date and was written for our best friend and drummer Jimmy Sullivan. Syn wrote the words as a last goodbye for our best friend of 18 years.” The band have made a new video for the song which was premiered worldwide on MTV.com on Tuesday 10th May.
Avenged Sevenfold are currently on their 'Welcome to the Family' Tour in the U.S., which continues through to May 21st. Their next visit to the UK is as one of the main acts at this year’s Download Festival on Saturday June 11th.
Avenged Sevenfold have just been nominated for 3 Kerrang Magazine awards; Best album, Best live band and Best International band. In the US, they took home three awards at Revolver Magazine's 2011 Golden Gods award show, "Album of the Year" for Nightmare, "Best Vocalist" for M. Shadows and "Best Guitarists" for Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance.
The band have also just released 'Not Ready to Die,' a new song featured in 'Call of Duty@Black Ops:Escalation.' The track was released on May 3rd.
