Rapper and singer-songwriter Nicki Minaj has split from long-term manager and advisor P Diddy, following on from her 2010 debut Pink Friday.
The multi-award winning artist had decided that as Diddy, 41, could no longer spend as much time focussed on her, that it was time to move on to another management company.
Diddy had managed the rising star since early 2010, but now Minaj clearly thinks she deserves the full attention of Diddy and was not happy that she wouldn’t receive it.
She has now moved on to a new company called ‘Hip Hop Since 1978’, who manage rap stars Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Drake. With a whole array of stars already under their belt you have to wonder how they’ll have any more time to tend to Minaj as P Diddy did.
Although Minaj has fired Diddy, the mogul and businessman is said to be un-phased by the move and there are apparently no hard feelings between the two.
