Next month will see the the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne, receive the 'Legend' award at the 2011 Kerrang! Awards which this year celebrates its 30th birthday. The first edition of Kerrang! launched on June 6th 1981 as a supplement with Sounds magazine. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Kerrang! Stereoboard are offering you the chance to win a bundle of merchandise from the nominees of this year's Kerrang! Awards. See below on how to enter the competition!
Nichola Browne, departing Kerrang! editor, revealed that the magazine is “unbelievably excited” about having Ozzy play a show. “We are privileged that the Prince of Darkness can help us mark this momentous milestone in style and it’s guaranteed to be a night to remember,” she explained.
This year's Kerrang! Awards, which are to be hosted for the third consecutive year by Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor and Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, will take place at the same time of the re-releases of Ozzy Osbourne's solo albums 'Blizzard Of Ozz' and 'Diary Of A Madman'.
