Scala & Kolacny Brothers Release Stunning New Video For 'Everlong' - Watch Now

Following a hugely successful US and European tour, headline shows at SXSW and Coachella festival, appearances on hit US chat shows and an extraordinary, sold out performance at Union Chapel in London, Scala & Kolacny Brothers reveal the brand new video for album track ‘Everlong’.

The video is directed by award winning film-maker, Mark Woollen whose previous work includes trailers for hit films such as Slumdog Millionaire, The Big Lebowski and The Social Network, which brilliantly featured Scala & Kolacny Brothers mesmerising version of Radiohead's ‘Creep’.

“As soon as I heard this song [Everlong], I was instantly taken with this feeling of wanting to hold on to a moment with someone. This idea is stylized in the video through the filming of several couples in extreme slow motion, all caught in a single emotional instant — a clasped hand, a shared laugh, a passionate embrace; the disappearing seconds of our lives that we wish we could hold on to.

The video serves as a visual diary, a celebration of interpersonal connections, seen through the eyes of various couples in a single room, but there is also something a little deeper playing out around them. From the opening shot of the hallway to the interior of the room itself, we see that this is no ordinary place. In fact, the room and its inhabitants are slowly being reclaimed by nature. This transformation represents a return to the organic emotional state of man — something so primitive, yet such a vital part of humanity”  - said Mark Woollen.

Having already sold over 500,000 records in Europe, Scala’s debut UK album, ‘Scala & Kolacny Brothers’, was released at the beginning of June. They have been confirmed to perform the prestigious main stage mid-day Sunday slot at Latitude Festival on the 17th July.
