One of the UK’s most hotly tipped, up and coming acts, Yellowire, have announced details of a ground breaking video for their single ‘Starlife’. The video was directed by Marcus Lyall, who has previously worked with The Chemical Brothers and Bon Jovi, and was conceptualised by graphic artist Jimmy Turrell (Guardian, Wall St Journal, Dazed & Confused).
The video was painstakingly put together using a series of processes without a special effect in sight. Over 60,000 individual frames were created using a number of screen printing techniques. Each frame was then photographed and put together into video format with some breathtaking results. Check it out for yourself below.
Following a residency at London’s Garage the band have performed at festival shows Rock Am Ring, the Isle Of Wight , Hard Rock Calling and Latitude Festival this summer.
Ol Beach, who is to all intents and purposes is Yellowire, was brought up in an incredibly musical family. His father, Jim Beach, has been the manager of legendary rock band Queen since 1978!
Yellowire's debut album 'Machines On Fire' will be released on August 15th.
