Fans with fast reflexes are at an advantage thanks to Blink 182, after they posted a new track from their album online – which you can only listen to after winning a surprisingly hard game.
The band put the time-consuming game up here - players must stop the fast-rising number on the sign on 182 exactly, or they won’t be able to get the track. It’s most likely going to take you a long time, and you’re going to get annoyed at it, but if you’re a Blink 182 fan, the rewards are satisfying. But, if you’re me, and you’re sitting with headphones on full volume and you manage to win – you’re in for a surprise. I almost fell out of my chair when the song started blasting out.
After a month or two of slowly releasing and posting tracks from their long-overdue new album, the boys are almost ready to put the record out – it hits shelves on September 27th. Along with the album is the also long-overdue UK tour, which was postponed until summer 2012. If you want to catch the 182 boys in Britain next year, grab your tickets quick – they’re likely to sell out.
