After two Number One singles, a brand new Number One album and a sold-out autumn tour Example has announced his first ever arena tour for April 2012. Example Tickets for his UK arena tour are ONSALE 9AM TODAY, Friday 16th September.
It has been a killer year for Example as ‘Changed The Way You Kiss Me’ held the Number One position in the UK charts for two weeks beating rock giants Coldplay to the top selling over 300K copies, now certified gold and ranked as one of the biggest selling singles of the year. His latest single ‘Stay Awake’ also topped the charts.
The juggernaut that is Example Live wowed crowds at festivals all over country this summer including Glastonbury, Wireless, Lovebox, Big Chill, V2011, Creamfields and an iTunes headline to name a few. He also returned to the Balearic isle to headline Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks.
Not content with a sold out 17-date headline UK tour running throughout November and December his new arena tour takes him to some of the UK’s biggest venues including London’s The O2 and Manchester’s MEN next year.
Rapper and grime artist Wretch 32 has been confirmed as the support act for Example’s April 2012 UK tour.
