Foo Fighters Mock Westboro Baptist Church Protesters - Video Inside

Westboro Baptist Church, an extremist group of anti-gay protestors, were ridiculed by the Foo Fighters on Saturday after they planned to picket-protest the band’s gig in Kansas City.
The hate group had called for the picket after hearing ‘Keep it Clean (Hot Buns)’, a pro-gay rights music video created by the Foo Fighters. On the day of the gig, a number of Westboro representatives turned up with their typical ‘God Hates Fags’ signs, as well as the equally disgusting and offensive ‘Thank God for Dead Soldiers’, a reference to their celebration of the death of a gay soldier.
But, after the Foo’s heard of the plans, they decided to do their own public appearance – which saw the band dressing up as country bumpkins for a performance of their track ‘Keep it Clean’. The whole episode was filmed by crew and can be seen in the embedded video below, which shows the band dressing up before arriving outside the venue on a flat-bed, guitars and all. They quickly drew a large crowd of people, a lot of which were already counter-protesting against the homophobic group, which even the KKK described as ‘hatemonger’s’.
Though the song features lyrics like “Driving all night, got a hankering for something, think I'm in the mood for some hot man muffins”, some of the members of the group seemed to be enjoying the tunes, oblivious the fact that it was indeed the Foo Fighters singing the same song they were protesting about. Perhaps some of them were distracted by the waving American flags or the cries of God Bless America, but after the tune finished and the band were wheeled away, one old woman, managing to carry four signs (one of which baring the words ‘Soldiers Die 4 Fag Marriage), happily smiled and said ‘I love that song.’
If you want to watch the video, check it out below – but be warned, you may find the level of ignorance from the protesters difficult to bare.
