Having played their first game in 1927, The Harlem Globetrotters, bastketball's most legendary team, have announced a 2012 UK arena tour.
Over the last 84 years they have played over 25,000 games and are made up of some of the best professional athletes in the world today. Creating such legends as Meadowlark Lemon, Curly Neal, Goose Tatum, Marques Haynes and 'Sweet' Lou Dunbar, the Globetrotters have the highest winning percentage of any professional sports team in the world. Seeing the Harlem Globetrotters live is a treat for anyone, of any age, whether a basketball fan or not.
This year, the Globetrotters have signed 10 outstanding new players to join the world’s most famous basketball team. The rookie class includes the UK’s very own Paul ‘Tiny’ Sturgess who is the world’s tallest pro basketball player at a staggering 7’8”, the shortest Globetrotter ever, and the team’s first female player in nearly two decades.
Don’t miss your chance to be blown away by one of the world’s most beloved and entertaining family shows around.
