Ginger-haired singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran recently surprised fans with the new vide to his track ‘Lego House’, which has already gained 3,650,000 views since it was uploaded just over a week ago. Now, he and his team have released a making-of film which goes behind the scenes at the shooting of the video.
‘Lego House’s video sees fellow ginger Rupert Grint, dressed and styled to look almost like Ed’s twin, playing an obsessed fan who follows him to gigs, breaks into his dressing room and sneaks onto his tour bus – he even manages to run on stage at one of Ed’s real gigs, before being tackled by security. In one scene, Grint is seen eating what is presumed to be an already chewed piece of Sheeran’s gum, before breaking down and smashing his own guitar and throwing away his memorabilia.
The making-of video shows how the two are friends, and how a few minutes work and the right pair of clothes can turn Ron Weasley into Ed Sheeran’s spit. The vid’s a must-see for Sheeran and Grint fans worldwide and can be seen embedded below.
Ed Sheeran is currently preparing for his up and coming UK tour, which kicks off on the 9th of January next year. If you want to catch Ed on the road, or at one of his one-off gigs around the country, check the dates and details found below the video.
