Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini has been voted headliner of the year in this year’s UK Festival Awards, it has been revealed.
The scoop comes after the 24 year-old put on a number of outstanding festival performances, including his critically acclaimed set at Latitude Festival. Upon hearing of his win, Nutini said: “Get in! Thanks for everyone who watched in the rain, glad you stayed - this one's for you guys.”
Paolo Nutini has in the past played Glastonbury, T in the Park and Isle of Wight and is now a staple on the festival circuit, proving that he feels just at home in a muddy field as he does playing a prestigious venue like the Royal Albert Hall.
Paolo is currently in the studio working material for a third studio album. None of the details have surfaced yet, so keep an eye on Stereoboard in the near future to find out when Nutini’s new tunes are ready for release.
