LA-based folk singer Jonathan Wilson has announced a series of tour dates in January and February to follow this week’s show at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen in London. Wilson recently completed a number of support dates for Wilco and influential singer-songwriter Roy Harper. See below for all forthcoming Jonathan Wilson tour dates and tickets.
The new dates follow the release of Wilson’s debut album ‘Gentle Spirit’, which reached Number 15 in the UK Indie Chart upon its release in August. The album features guest appearances from a number of other artists including Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes, Vetiver’s Andy Cabic and Gary Louris of The Jayhawks. Jonathan Wilson was previously a member of the band Muscadine, who released their debut album ‘The Ballad of Hope Nichols’ in 1998. He went on to record his first solo album ‘Frankie Ray’ in 2007, although it was never officially released. In addition to his solo work, Wilson has frequently recorded and performed with a number of other artists including Elvis Costello, Erykah Badu, Bonnie “Prince” Billy and The Band’s Robbie Robertson.
